Sharon offers some private yoga therapy sessions. Using
a specific intention (created by the client usually although not
always), Sharon will design either a specific yoga sequence or have
the client stay
in a few, guided, specific yoga postures in order to unblock energy
or in order to open the body up in a particular way. This experience
is not
for everybody but can often be a powerful tool to use in conjunction
with regular talk therapy. This can be useful if talk therapy is
no longer helpful
or if the therapist and client think that the body might respond
easier than the mind to change. A good example of when this could
be useful is
with clients who have suffered trauma in the past that continues
to resurface in present relationships. Another example of when this
can be useful is
when a client has a negative self image or poor self esteem. Please

Give the gift of yoga to someone you love! Yoga helps alleviate stress and tension, helps us feel better about our bodies, and ourselves, helps us move unwanted energy out of the body, helps us with injuries (chronic or otherwise) and helps us manifest our goals and dreams.
You can register a friend or family member for a yoga session
(Tuesday mornings or Thursday nights), give them a private yoga session (60
or 90 minutes), or even organize a group, private class (maximum of 8 people).

Sharon is an amazing instructor and with each class she provides individualized guidance to each student. Her Yoga for Joy class is good for the mind, body, and soul. I look forward to it each week. |
