In-Joy encorporates yoga into the healing process. Sharon
believes often it is easier to move energy in the body (where it
is stuck) by using yoga, breath and visualization. Using her extensive
knowledge
of both yoga and the chakras (energetic centers in the body), she
teaches and coaches clients in yoga therapy sessions (private sessions)
and /or
yoga classes and often during psychotherapy sessions. Sharon believes
passionately in using yoga to help foster change because it is often
"the most direct path to shift the body-mind-spirit and clients after
being put in a yoga posture that opened up their heart". To illustrate
some clients
will say to her that they "don't know why it happened, but they got more
open hearted and felt a big release".

Sharon's yoga classes have done something for me that no other body work has done, that is, effectively combine the mind, body and spirit. Sharon provides the environment to meet resistance physically as well as spiritually, as I acknowledge it, I am better able to move beyond it and experience more joy. |
